Whatever your situation, whatever your current financial situation, the most important thing to consider is your motivation - your 'why'. "Why do I want to work from home?" If you haven't asked yourself that question, you need to start asking. You may not get immediate answers, but through prayer and talking with your spouse, through research, you'll find the answers, some possibly quite surprising.

But the most important thing to get past is, 'the Why', because without the 'why', the 'what' is pointless. What you will do doesn't matter if you don't know why, don't have the motivation to do it.
